I almost didn’t get this write up done! I’ve been busy playing Elden Ring, and I am wrecked. I persevere for you.
Ok, we aren’t even doing entrances. We are just getting right to the TNT Championship match. Sammy Guevara is defending his belt(s) against Andrade El Idolo.
A beaten and bruised Sammy Guevara managed to maintain his belt in an excellent opening match.
It wasn’t obvious whether Matt Hardy was helping Andrade, or trying to secretly sabotage him. Nonetheless, he inadvertently (or deliberately) cost Andrade the match.
Afterwards, Matt Hardy attacked Sammy Guevara, just to keep the ambiguity alive. Sting and Darby Allin made the save.
QT Marshall came out and started talking smack to Taz. Great. The feud nobody wanted. QT v Taz. Woohoo. Marshall eventually turned his attention to Hook, requesting that he come out and thank QT Marshall. Hook obliged, but let his fists do the talking.
Backstage, Dan Lambert promised Scorpio Sky that he will get a title shot before anyone else does.
Over to the ring, again without entry music, for the match between Nick Comoroto and Wardlow.
Nick put up a good fight, certainly better than anyone else has recently. No matter though, a few powerbombs put him down, just like the rest of them.
Shawn Spears gave some advice to Wardlow, and suggested he drop the powerbombs. Once more, Wardlow refrained from hitting him.
Kayla Sparks was the next victim in Deeb’s 5 minute challenge. Apparently choking someone out with a towel isn’t against the rules.
Tony Schiavone oversaw the contract signing between Thunder Rosa and Britt Baker. A lot of words were exchanged, and eventually some punches. It is a contract signing after all.
The main event featured Anthony Bowens taking on Orange Cassidy, with the winner advancing to the ladder match at Revolution.
Bah. Cassidy won. Again. Thanks to Danhausen interfering. Again. Bah.
