Darby Allin is up first, hoping to avenge his recent loss against MJF. Maybe 30 years ago, and in a different promotion, Billy Gunn might have had a chance against Darby.
Nonetheless, the match was booked and written as though it were a squash match. It was just the wrong way around. For a solid 10 minutes we watched Darby get tossed around like a rag doll. He was absolutely decimated.
All it took to turn it around was about 45 seconds of offense. Darby hit a couple of moves and then got the pinfall. What a strange way to have Allin bounce back from his PPV loss.
After the bout, The Gunn Club jumped Sting and Darby Allin, leaving them both lying unconscious in the ring.
Tony Schiavone is standing by with QT Marshall. I haven’t seen him for a very long time. He will be in action on Dynamite, taking on CM Punk. I never thought I’d see the day when I’d be cheering for QT Marshall.
The Inner Circle said they don’t care who is up next, they are ready to take on the world. The Men of the Year said that their beef is far from over. God, I hope I don’t have to hear Lambert speak again.
Jade defeated Red Velvet and advanced to the semi-finals of the TBS tournament. I’m just glad it wasn’t Red Velvet. I really, really don’t like Red Velvet. Jade will take on the winner of Thunder Rosa and Jamie Hayter. So Rosa. Jade will take on Rosa.
Mark Henry is conducting his pre game interviews, but was swiftly cut off by Adam Cole. Cole and the Bucks are very annoyed with Jungle Boy for being so violent at the PPV. Aw.
Adam Cole and Bobby Fish are teaming up to take on the duo of Jurassic Express. It was a pretty enjoyable match, especially when JB and Adam Cole were in the ring together.
The Young Bucks came out to interfere, but Christian and his Chair came to chase them away. For some reason, Adam Cole decided to run away with them, leaving Fish to the mercy of Jurassic Express.
It didn’t take long for Fish to submit, and Jungle Boy picks up another important victory.
