Where Have I Been?

I’m sure that those of you who tune into accordingtoaaron with any regularity have noticed that my writing has slowed down a lot lately. In fact, you could say that for the last 4-6 weeks I’ve been downright slack. Just writing these few sentences now feels good and it feels nice to be back at my office! For those of you wondering where I have been, I present the answer.

First and foremost, I’ve just been feeling myself. My motivation and inspiration have been missing! Nothing to worry about, but I’ve just had a few things weighing on my mind. On top of that, we had Christmas, New Years, my daughter’s 2nd birthday (can you believe she is two?), wedding preparation and more COVID drama to contend with. It’s hard to keep up with it all sometimes, as I’m sure many of you feel. I hope you are all doing well and keeping sane.

Secondly, and admittedly a very, very minor issue, but an issue nonetheless, my computer is driving me crazy. I love you old girl, but you are getting incredibly slow and my patience is not the best at the best of times and now is certainly not the best of times!

Finally, I’ve been focussed on a few other projects. My health and fitness has been on a downwards trajectory, so I’ve been trying to reverse that trend. If you follow my YouTube channel, you’ll have noticed that I’ve done a couple of videos lately and I’m hoping to continue that trend over the course of this year. Sport still continues to dominate my life, even if I haven’t been publishing anything, I’ve still been researching and writing about that almost every single day.

The good news is, I have a huge back catalogue of things to write about and I am starting to feel more motivated to work through it. So stay tuned in the coming weeks as I bring you more video game stories, TV reviews, sports analytics, some general life bits and maybe even one or two music reviews!

I apologise for my absence, and would like to send a huge thank you to those who have still been checking in on the website. I see you all out there and I appreciate it a lot! I’ll be back tomorrow with some video game stuff and then again the day after with our weekly wrestling recap!
